About California Montessori Project - Carmichael

At CMP - Carmichael, our S.U.R.F values guide students to be Safe, Understanding, Responsible, and Finding Solutions. We are a public TK-8 charter school located in Carmichael and part of a network of six California Montessori Project schools serving the Greater Sacramento area. Together, we collectively serve over 3,000 students across our campuses.

We provide an authentic Montessori education thoughtfully integrated with California state standards. Our hands-on, child-centered approach takes place in multi-grade classrooms where students thrive with the support of both a lead teacher and an instructional aide. We foster peer collaboration, small group learning, and independent learning.
