This spring, parents and guardians of CMP students will have the chance to vote for 2 members of the CMP Governing Board. This memo explains the role of the Governing Board, duties of Board members, and election logistics. Parents and guardians are encouraged to run for the Board. The Governing Board currently consists of 8 members. Because all Governing Board members are responsible to and for the CMP network as a whole, all CMP parents and guardians (network-wide) may vote for each parent representative. If you are interested in running please come by the office to pick up the paperwork.

We will be hosting the kindergarten and 8th grade graduation photos on Friday May 1st, in the Pacific Room. Please see the flyer attached if you wanted to order prints. We will be taking every student’s picture in a cap and gown for their graduation picture. This is a free dress day! We are in need of a 2-3 parent volunteers who are Cleared Volunteers to help out during this event in the early morning from 8:30am-11am. You would be helping to gather a few kindergarten students at a time to take them into the Pacific Room and put on the cap and gown and have their picture taken- then to help escort them back to class. If you are able to help out that day please let me know!
Also please note: If your student is currently in Transitional kindergarten they will NOT be having their picture taken as they will graduate from kindergarten next year!
Voice Messages will be posted here in case you miss one.
Previous Letters are found under the Tab "from the Principal"
