EASY, NO-COST FUNDRAISER
Shoparoo is a no-cost, effortless way to earn money for our school
using a free mobile application available on Android smart phones, iPhones,
& iPads. Simply download the application via the Google Play Store or Apple
App Store and select "California Montessori Project-Carmichael
Campus" as your school. Every time you shop, simply scan your receipt,
regardless of what you purchase or where you shop, and earn points for the
Money spent equals points, and
points equals cash donations and sweepstakes entries for the school. This is a
great fundraising opportunity without buying and selling. We have already
raised $40 in the first month and a half. Imagine how much more we can earn
with everyone’s participation! And best of all, you don't have to be a parent
to use Shoparoo, so please encourage your family members and friends to
download the application and help our school.

3. Save receipts from all of your purchases
4. Scan you receipts using your smart phone, iPhone or

**Please Note** Punch Card prices have increased this year. For hourly care, families may purchase a Club M “Punch Card” in increments of 20 hours or 40 hours (See Rates Sheets for cost). Any portion of an hour will be charged in 30 minute increments.
·Families may purchase a maximum of 80 hours per school year for each enrolled CMP student. After that time, a family should register for a Club M program which will best suit their needs for the remainder of the school year. Please check with campus Club M Coordinator for specifics.
·Space for hourly care is NOT GUARANTEED and is only available on a space available basis. Hourly Care must be arranged at least 24 hours in advance and only to families who have already purchased a Punch Card.

Tomorrow is our annual family movie
night. There is no charge for the movie, which begins at 7:30 on the lawn in
the 600 wing. Prior to the movie, you may purchase dinner at our Spaghetti Feed
between 6:00 and 7:30 in the Gibbons Room.
I also want to bring to your
attention a fundraiser for our campus. Shoparoo is a no-cost, effortless way to

Every time you shop, scan your receipt and the school will receive funds. Please

Dear CMP Carmichael Families:
Welcome to the start of the 2014-2015 school
year. The office and teaching staff are
excited to see our new and returning students and families.
We would like to share with you some important
2014-2015 school calendar additions. The
California Department of Education just recently notified districts of their
testing windows for the California Assessment of Student Performance and
Progress (CAASPP) and the Science California Standards Test (CST).
The testing window for the Smarter Balanced on-line
tests for English Language Arts and Mathematics for grades 3-8 will open on
Wednesday, March 4 and close on Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Science CSTs for 5th and 8th grade
students are scheduled to take place the week of May 4 through May 13, 2015.
It is critical that students are present during our
scheduled testing time; therefore, vacations must take place during scheduled
